Multiplayer underway
Dan here. I wanted to give a brief update on the project. There hasn't been a new version uploaded for a minute because we've been hard at work on a major update: Implementing multiplayer.
We're hoping to have an update uploaded in the next 1-2 months, by that point, we should have multiplayer functioning. At the very least it'll be working in LAN mode, but we hope to have online running as well.
In addition to the more technical aspects of networking, Ancel Haegler has been making leaps and bounds on the game design and the general prettiness of the main map. He's been focusing in on the giant mushroom field that is the "jungle" portion between the mid and bottom lanes. Not going to lie, it's looking super cool with the glowing fungus and funky particle effects. I cannot wait to duke it out with other players in that section. I've attached some screenshots of it so far.
We've also onboarded a third member to the team, Joel Gallaher. He'll be stepping in as the AI lead. We're stoked to have him with us. His highly technical mind and vast experience as a long time MOBA player will greatly aid us in developing the best FPS MOBA we can. For now, we have to put up with my dodgy AI system that's in place just enough to test the other features I work on, lol.
